    A Guy Named Bryce

Thursday. May 17. 2018. Near Capitol Reef. Yesterday, I got to Bryce Canyon early in the morning and stopped by the visitor’s center to plan my day. I did have full intentions of hiking down into the hoodoos, but when I got to trailhead of the hike I was going to do, I opted out. My body was still just too worn out from the day before. The East Rim

Tuesday. May 15 2018. Thomas Springs. I warned ya’ll that today would be a long day, and that it was. I woke up at 6am, and even without cooking breakfast, I did not start hiking until 6:55. I know the main reason was because I have not totally recovered from the 36 hours awake to get here, which thankfully last night I set up camp around 5 and was asleep by 7 at the latest. I even slept pretty well I believe. Thank goodness I packed melatonin; a night shift nurse’s best friend. My body is sore, but in the good way, like I have been putting in work. It is amazing what we can push our bodies…

    Where Angel’s Land

I have been meaning to start writing about my trip to Utah, but life always has a way of getting in the way. With night shift, I am always tired. And I am trying to better the layout and content of my blog and learn how to better edit my pictures, which is tiring when that involves the support chat quite a bit. I am so technology-stupid. So thank you for your patience! So when I start travel nursing, I want the travel portion of this blog to become more of a resource for others looking to explore. When planning a trip, I spend hours trying to find the best…
